XV SOUNDS OF TIME TOUR

On Friday, March 3, we performed as part of the 15th Sound of time tour at the church Santa Maria, Seu d’Ègara at Terrassa. The concert was preceded by the lecture “Mater Virgo Regina – Singing to the Virgin in the Middle Ages“,given by Maria Incoronata Coulantuono, Professor in the Department of Art and Musicology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

feminine perspective revisits the text of the Ave Maria through time and voice. Guided by early plainchant, we journeyed through contrasting polyphonies in which form and texture are expressed in rich and diverse ways according to each composer.

Rachmaninoff and McIntyre, among others, lead us to discover hidden corners of our inner world, inspiring us to express all these emotions outwardly…
